Keeping Safe: Social Distancing Plan

ON ENTRY:

The doors into our premises will remain open at all times to minimise contact.  A one-way system will be employed on our stairs requiring guests to keep to a lane when entering and leaving the premises.  Full sanitising equipment will be supplied on entry and exit of the premises.

TRACK AND TRACE:

All guests will be required to leave their contact details on entry to the premises, as required by the government’s track and trace scheme. If a customer refuses to do so they will not be granted entry.

MAXIMUM GROUP SIZE:

A maximum of 4 people will be allowed per snooker/pool table. Players will be told to be seated in-between shots with a 2m distance in place.

CUE SPORTS EQUIPMENT:

All required equipment (cues, triangles, balls, chalk etc) will be kept behind the bar and given to guests as necessary. On finishing their visit, equipment will be returned to staff and thoroughly sanitised before being made available for future guests.

BAR ORDERING SYSTEM:

Guests will be given a contact phone number on entry, which they will use to place orders from the bar. Staff will prepare orders before flashing the lights above the relevant table to inform the guest their order is ready.  Guests will then collect their order from the bar area.  This ensures there is only ever 1 guest at the bar at any time.  No orders will be taken at the bar.

LIMITED CAPACITY:

During this time we will minimise the amount of people allowed in the venue by over 50%. TV Area: 26 Seats – Pool Area: 38 Seats – Snooker Area: 6 Seats – Private Sports Area: 46 Seats

SOCIALLY DISTANCED SNOOKER/POOL TABLE LAYOUT:

In order to help guests maintain social distancing measures we will be employing a reduced table layout. Removing some of our tables from use will provide essential space between tables helping to keep guests safe.

 

LIMITED TOILET CAPACITY:

Toilet capacity will be limited to 2 guests at a time.  Our disabled toilet will be limited to 1 guest at any time. Guest will be made aware of this on arrival, along with social distance queueing stickers on the floor allowing customers to queue adequately.

REGULAR CLEANING:

Staff have been fully trained in our new COVID-19 cleaning requirements. There is a thorough cleaning plan in place, extra cleaning will be used at specific times during opening hours every 2 hours. Staff will be required to clean: All tables not in use, toilets, all doors, stairs handrails, the bar area, all pool/snooker rests and extra equipment. All cleaning products are virucide efficient.

FRUIT MACHINES:

Guests are required to hand sanitise prior to fruit machine usage. In addition to this every 2 hours staff will sanitise machines.

CLEAR SIGNAGE AND SANITISING STATIONS:

Our premises will have clear signage in appropriate places to inform and remind customers what is expected of them during there time in our premises. We also have multiple sanitising stations for guests to use on arrival, departure and during there time in our premises.

HYGIENE TRAINING FOR STAFF:

All of our staff have been required to complete online courses on the following topics: Coronavirus Awareness, Mental Health Awareness, Infection, Prevention and control. This is to ensure that they are up to date with all the information needed to keep the customers and themselves protected at all times.

   

A MESSAGE TO OUR GUESTS:

Please do not enter the club if they are experiencing any Covid-19 symptoms including a new continuous cough, high temperature and loss or change of smell or taste.

All the measures we have put in place are for the safety of our guests AND our staff.  We please ask everyone to respect the measures, be safe, be sensible and we can all enjoy being open again.
